Crock Pot Pork Sandwiches with Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Salsa

1 cup beer
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ cup BBQ sauce
For the Pineapple Salsa:
2 cups diced fresh pineapple
½ cup diced red onion
½ cup diced fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime, juiced
1 hot pepper, finely diced
For the Sandwiches:
